As I sit here with this tall glass of Raspberry Lemonade, I want to propose a toast…I said toast muthafucka. Fuck all that cliche shit people do toasts for. I’m toasting to not giving a fuck. Scratch that. Here’s a toast to having negative fucks just so you have to give me a couple fucks so I can get to the point where I actually don’t give a fuck.

New Post: Cliff Skighwalker X The State News
Woke up this morning, wrote a birthday card for my grandmother, got the card in the mail on time, and looked for the nearest copies of Michigan State’s newspaper The State News that were available. After a couple stops (I was clearly lookin in all the wrong places), I finally grabbed a copy. A big thanks to Dillon Davis and Matt Radick. Dillon did a great job capturing the essence of my voice as well as my point of view, and Matt is an exceptional photographer. I truly feel blessed that a lot of people are able to see and read this article because, as stated before in a previous post, there’s definitely a large amount negativity surrounding Michigan State right now (most of already know why), and it definitely speaks volumes for The State News to feature a young black male doing something positive out here…..much love and respect for that.

With all the negativity that has recently been heard and read about all across the nation regarding young black men at Michigan State (I know you have all seen/read it), it’s refreshing to see media on campus showcase some positivity that is being displayed out here.
