I can say this without any qualms or holding anything back that Esperanza Spalding is one of the most talented artists of our generation. I was blessed with the chance to sit-in at one of her master classes and hear her live, and she’s too dope. Her ability to attack the music with her own musical spin is both refreshing, pleasing, and needed in this industry. Her newest album is a new approach to the concept of Chamber Music.
